New Life Cycle has always believed that green living should be rooted in the community and integrated into the daily lives of residents. To celebrate Mother’s Day, we were honored to be invited by District Councilor Mr. Lau Chin-pang and the Moon Yat Care Team to host a "Natural Handmade Soap Workshop" for the residents of Yat Tung Estate.

The theme of the workshop was DIY Natural Handmade Soaps. Compared to conventional bottled liquid soaps, these handcrafted soaps are formulated with pure ingredients and are entirely free from chemical additives. Furthermore, by choosing bar soap over bottled alternatives, we can effectively reduce plastic packaging waste, practicing a plastic-free lifestyle right from the source.

Throughout the making process, participants showed great focus and dedication, from blending the ingredients to pouring the molds, all to ensure the creation of a natural and heartfelt gift. Each finished product carried the "handcrafted warmth" and eco-conscious spirit of the participants, offering mothers a unique and environmentally friendly festive surprise.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between environmental education and daily life, making green living accessible through diverse experiential activities. We warmly welcome collaboration invitations from government departments, local community groups, and social service organizations. We look forward to partnering with more organizations to host down-to-earth, community-focused environmental workshops, building a greener and more harmonious neighborhood together.
