New Life Cycle was honored to be invited by Park Island to participate in the Green Eco Bazaar. Over this vibrant two-day event, we engaged with residents to promote environmental awareness through creative actions and community exchange.
Waste-to-Resources: Upcycling Workshops
We held hands-on upcycling workshops to show how everyday waste can be turned into useful and beautiful items. Participants made natural mosquito repellent bricks from recycled coffee grounds. We also turned used coffee capsules into stylish keychains and accessories. These activities showed everyone that "waste" can be reimagined as valuable, making eco-friendly living both fun and creative.
Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
This event was a proactive response to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By bringing environmental education directly into the Park Island community, we successfully increased resident participation in green living and helped build a more sustainable community (SDG 11). At the same time, our upcycling workshops guided the public to reduce waste at the source and encouraged residents to practice responsible consumption (SDG 12). Furthermore, our collaboration with property management and developers highlighted how cross-sector partnerships can create a powerful synergy to protect our environment together (SDG 17).
Future Collaborations
While the market has concluded, our mission continues. New Life Cycle welcomes future collaborations with corporations, organizations, and schools. We look forward to partnering with you on eco-workshops, educational seminars, or ESG event planning.
