On 27 June 2026 (Saturday), New Life Cycle successfully organised the Eco Coffee Weekend Bazaar at the kNOw Carbon House. Combining coffee culture with environmental education, the event encouraged the public to explore low-carbon living, the circular economy, and fair trade through a series of interactive experiences.
The event welcomed members of the public, families, and coffee lovers to enjoy a variety of activities under the theme of "Coffee × Sustainability." Highlights included a complimentary Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) coffee experience, interactive games on fair trade and carbon reduction, upcycling workshops using coffee grounds and coffee capsules, as well as a food-sharing booth that promoted food waste reduction and resource sharing.
Through hands-on workshops and engaging activities, participants gained a deeper understanding for climate change, fair trade, resource circularity, and waste upcycling. They also learned practical ways to transform used coffee grounds and coffee capsules into useful everyday products, demonstrating how sustainable practices can be incorporated into daily life.
The event also featured the popular environmental mascot Big Waster, who interacted with visitors and took photos with participants, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. Participants enthusiastically engaged in the activities while learning about sustainability in a fun and accessible way.
We are committed to promoting environmental education and sustainable development through creative public engagement programmes, educational workshops, and interactive experiences. By encouraging positive behavioural change, we hope to inspire more people to embrace low-carbon lifestyles and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The kNOw Carbon House welcomes both individual and group bookings throughout the year. Schools, corporations, and community organisations are invited to join our guided tours and environmental workshops to explore topics including climate change, carbon neutrality, and sustainable living.
