New Life Cycle organised a Coffee Capsule Upcycling Workshop at Whampoa Garden for residents. Participants used aluminium coffee capsules that had already been used to make hair ties and decorative items.

Through the hands-on activity, participants learned how used coffee capsules can be reused instead of being thrown away. They also learned more about the materials used in coffee capsules and picked up some simple environmental tips that can be applied in everyday life. The workshop combined hands-on upcycling with environmental education, giving residents a chance to learn about waste reduction while making their own items.

New Life Cycle continues to promote environmental education and sustainable living through a variety of hands-on activities and workshops. We welcome collaboration with communities, schools, businesses and organisations to develop engaging environmental workshops tailored to different groups.
