On January 31 and February 1, New Life Cycle successfully hosted the Barter & Recycling Day at Fairview Park. Organized in collaboration with local estates, this initiative encouraged residents to integrate waste reduction into their daily routines through proactive recycling.
Community Impact
The event saw enthusiastic engagement, with over 750 participants collecting approximately 1,000 bags of recyclables, including clothing, books, and stationery. Participants earned points for their contributions, which were redeemed for gifts. A highlight of the event was the distribution of small potted plants, symbolizing the "seeds of environmental protection" being brought back into residents' homes.
Education & Engagement
Besides recycling, our booths offered practical tips on waste reduction and proper sorting. We were happy to hear from residents that the plants they received at last year’s event are still growing well—this shows the lasting impact of our community work. We sincerely thank the Fairview Park residents for their support. Together, we are building a greener, low-carbon community.
