On May 9, 2025, kNOw Carbon House successfully hosted the "Low-Carbon Living Second-hand Bazaar," an initiative dedicated to fostering a sustainable community. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the public, bringing the community together to support a greener Hong Kong.
Core Mission: Exchange & Reuse
The market centered on the theme of "Exchange and Reuse." Participants were encouraged to bring second-hand clothing and books to share with others, thereby reducing waste at the source and promoting a low-carbon lifestyle.
Interactive Learning & Community Engagement
The House was open for public exploration, allowing visitors to deepen their knowledge of carbon neutrality through our interactive exhibition zones. The event served as a platform for residents to transition from environmental awareness to active participation, with many visitors signing up for upcoming guided tours and eco-workshops. This high level of engagement reflects a growing community passion for environmental education and a shared dedication to practicing sustainable, low-carbon habits in daily life.
Looking Forward
Through this community event, we hope to raise public awareness of carbon reduction and environmental issues, encouraging citizens to support resource reuse through practical action and integrate low-carbon habits into their daily lives.
